Farewell to Tiffany Helms
After nearly 25 years of faithful service, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Tiffany Helms, our TRUMPS Preschool Director, as she begins a new professional chapter. Her leadership has left a lasting legacy of faith and love.
Congratulations to Wade and Anna Fletcher!
We celebrated the joyful wedding of Wade Fletcher and Anna Walter on July 19. Wade is the son of our Director of Music Ministries, Rev. Sarah Fletcher. We rejoice with the Fletcher family in this beautiful union.
Welcome Baby John Henry Cox!
Ashlea Cox, our Director of Children and Family Ministry, and her husband Nathan, welcomed their son, John Henry, into the world! Ashlea began her maternity leave on July 13, and Emily Turner will serve as the point of contact during her absence.
Social Principles Summer Series
Our adult education series continued with powerful discussions on the UMC Social Principles. Topics explored in July included Criminal & Restorative Justice, Economic Justice, and Immigration & Migration.
“What’s Up, Zak?” Summer Musical Camp
Our second annual Summer Musical Camp was a joyful success! Held July 13–18, children entering 1st through 6th grade participated in “What’s Up, Zak? A Musical Encounter with Jesus.” The week concluded with a spirited performance that showcased their creativity and growing faith. We’re grateful to all who helped make this week unforgettable!
Youth Fellowship & Mission
• Wing Wednesday on July 23 brought together youth for food, fun, and fellowship.
• Youth Mission Week (July 28–30) empowered our youth to serve through hands-on projects at church and in the community, wrapping up with our final Bible Bites of the summer at Home Team BBQ.
Each of these moments reflects our mission: to grow in Christ, serve others, and share the good news.
