Good news at TRUMC - JUNE
God Is Moving at Trenholm!
Good News from Trenholm Road UMC – June Recap
June was filled with joyful moments and meaningful ministry at TRUMC!
We rejoiced as new members joined our church family and celebrated baptisms that marked powerful steps of faith. Our clergy participated in the South Carolina UMC Annual Conference, connecting with leaders from across the state to grow and strengthen the mission of the church.
Our Children’s Ministry hosted a vibrant and successful Vacation Bible School, where children explored their faith through stories, music, crafts, and hands-on fun. Meanwhile, our Youth stayed engaged with Wings on Wednesdays, Game Night, and evening fellowship and discipleship gatherings that deepened their connection to Christ and to each other.
We also put our faith into action. A team of TRUMC volunteers served at Camp Cole, bringing food and encouragement to campers in need of support. Right here on our campus, we were honored to welcome summer campers for a season of discovery and joy. In addition, our congregation collected and donated boxes of cereal and breakfast items to Harvest Hope, helping to provide nourishment for families in our wider community.
Campus improvements also took center stage, thanks to the collaboration of our Trustees and the TRUMC Foundation, who worked together to make our facilities safer and more welcoming for all.
Each of these moments reflects our mission: to grow in Christ, serve others, and share the good news.
