Adolescence is one of the most unique and complex stages of development. At Trenholm Road, we take the spiritual formation and development of our teenagers seriously. Our goal is to empower families of teenagers to come and worship, grow in their faith, to share the Word of God, and to go out into the world with the message of Jesus Christ.

Our student ministry is active in trips, programming and discipleship this Summer! Please click the button below to view our Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 Student Ministry Informational Packet.

Trenholm Road has an awesome opportunity to provide for those less fortunate in the Columbia area by making meals at Trinity Episcopal. On designated Saturday mornings, students can make sandwiches that are handed out to the poor and homeless. Click the button below for more information and to sign up.

Our youth choir gathers to rehearse every Sunday afternoon from 5:00 to 5:30 pm before MYF. Lead by Sarah Fletcher and Caroline Scobee, this opportunity provides our students a chance of fellowship and learning unique ways to glorify God. Please click on the buttons below to see the Youth Choir schedule or to register.

Our students have a great opportunity to serve in worship by helping the television ministry. Whether it be the main camera in the balcony, or the two cameras operated in the television room students can operate one of these three cameras. PLEASE NOTE: for a student to serve in the television ministry, they MUST attend Sunday School on the same Sunday that they are signed up to serve.

Methodist Youth Formation (MYF)

MYF is our weekly Sunday night gathering to eat, discuss God's word, fellowship, play games, participate in mission opportunities, and much more!  We meet every Sunday from 5:30 to 7:00 in the Leisure Ministries building. All current 6th through 12th grade students are invited and encouraged to bring friends!

Wednesnights Youth Discipleship

Every Wednesday night, join us in the Youth Lounge as we gather to discuss God's Word and catch up on what God is doing in our lives. A church-wide dinner is served at 5:30 in the Gym, then we head downstairs for discipleship. All current 6th through 12th grade students are invited!

Sunday school is held every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 in the basement of the Leisure Ministries building. Our 6th and 7th graders meet in Mrs. Susan Jones class, while our 8th through 12th grade students meet in the Youth Lounge. Anyone is welcome to attend, where we discuss how our walk with Jesus Christ impacts our lives today!
