Position Summary for Facilities Custodian (non-exempt position):

To support our ministries and community programs, TRUMC is seeking a Facilities Custodian who is enthusiastic, dependable, and service‑oriented. This non-exempt position plays a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming buildings and grounds for worship, education, and outreach. The Facilities Custodian reports to the Director of Campus Operations.
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning and maintaining classrooms, offices, restrooms, sanctuary, and common areas
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care
Emptying trash and maintaining outdoor areas
Restocking restroom supplies
Assisting with room setup and moving furniture
Performing light maintenance as assigned
Working safely around preschool‑age children and youth
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday during office hours and Sunday mornings; flexibility required for events.
Qualifications:
Custodial or facilities experience preferred; ability to perform physical labor; dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Position Summary
TRUMC is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Minister of Congregational Care to provide pastoral care and support to individuals and families within our congregation. This role is central to our church’s mission of fostering connection, healing, and spiritual well-being. The Minister of Congregational Care will work closely with clergy, staff, and lay leaders to ensure that every member feels seen, supported, and valued throughout their faith journey.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Congregational Care Committee to coordinate care ministries and oversee benevolence efforts
• Provide hospital, homebound, and nursing home visitation as part of the pastoral care team
• Recruit, train, and support lay visitation teams in partnership with the Congregational Care Committee
• Assist with recruiting and resourcing the Stephen Ministry Team
• Participate in regular staff meetings for planning, coordination, and vision casting
• Lead and/or assist with worship services as requested
Desired Skills and Qualifications
• Ordained minister or clergy member preferred (but not required), with the ability to apply theological understanding in compassionate, practical ways
• Formal education in ministry and/or Wesleyan theology; bachelor’s or master’s degree in a ministry-related field preferred
• A committed Christian who embraces the mission, doctrine, and polity of the United Methodist Church
• Demonstrated compassion for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of others
• Experience that reflects leadership, training, and a commitment to ministry
• Passion for equipping, supporting, and caring for laity
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and organizational skills
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to lifelong learning
Compensation and Benefits
• Part-time position: 24 hours per week
• 90-day probationary hiring period
