At Trenholm Road United Methodist Church, our mission is Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This mission has guided our congregation for many years and continues to shape who we are and how we serve our community.
A Vision That Continues to Guide Us
In 2013, the congregation participated in the Imagine Church Visioning Process, a season of prayer, discernment, and dreaming about the future God was calling us to embrace. Through that process, five core priorities emerged that continue to define the life and ministry of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church.
Those priorities challenged us to become a church that would:

These four expressions have served as the foundation of our ministry, helping shape our worship, discipleship, outreach, and service for more than a decade.
Today, as we continue to build on that vision, we are placing a renewed emphasis on a fifth expression:
Live Generously
While Live Generously is our newest named expression, generosity has always been woven into the life of our church. As United Methodists, we respond to God's grace through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Living generously simply gives language to what God has already been doing through the people of TRUMC for generations.
Generosity is about more than financial giving. It is a posture of the heart—a willingness to offer our time, talents, compassion, hospitality, and resources so that others may experience the love of Christ.
Living the Mission Every Day
Together, these five expressions remind us that discipleship is not a destination but a lifelong journey.
Come and Worship — Encounter God through worship and community.
Grow in Faith — Deepen your relationship with Christ through learning and spiritual growth.
Share the Word — Invite others into the hope and love of Jesus.
Go and Serve — Be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and beyond.
Live Generously — Respond to God's abundant grace by living with open hands and open hearts.
