Trenholm Road United Methodist Church is a dynamic and growing congregation located just five minutes from the State Capital in Columbia, SC. Our weekly worship services in the summer months (June 3-September 2) are held at 10 a.m. with Sunday school at 9 a.m. Our worship services from September 9 through May 26, 2019 will be held at 8:30 am and 11:00 am on Sunday mornings. Our services include Bible-based preaching, traditional Methodist liturgy, and a variety of music ranging from gospel, to classical, to contemporary, to spirituals. Our services are also televised, Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. on WACH FOX 57.

Our mission is to bring people to Jesus Christ, worship him together, grow in grace and in the knowledge of him, and serve him by serving those in need.

We offer dynamic Christian programs for all ages, placing special emphasis on worship, discipleship, and service, including Trenholm Road UMC Pre-School (TRUMPS) one of the few NAECY accredited preschools in South Carolina.

Church Council

The work of Church Council is an essential function of discipleship. As leaders in the church, each Church Council member is using their gifts as one who has been baptized into the ministry of all Christians. Church Council members have been called to specific leadership in this congregation. The council's work is designed to encourage and support the formation of Christian faith and discipleship in this congregation.
